The other driver's insurance admitted fault and they just offered me a $2,500 settlement to cover my medical bills (went to urgent care for minor whiplash) plus a bit extra. My neck still hurts a little, but nothing crazy. Everyone is telling me 'lawyer up,' but I don't want to deal with a massive legal battle or have a lawyer take 40% of what I get. Is it worth getting a personal injury attorney for something this small, or should I just sign the papers and move on?
