Hey everyone, so I was driving home from work yesterday and got tapped from behind at a stoplight. It’s nothing crazy, just some bumper damage and my neck feels a little stiff today. The guy who hit me was super apologetic but basically pleaded with me to handle it 'under the table' because his rates are already sky-high. He gave me his number and a photo of his ID, but I'm getting a weird vibe. Is it a huge mistake if I don't file a claim right away? I've never dealt with this before and don't want to get screwed over if my car needs more work than it looks like or if my neck gets worse.
