So, I got rear-ended on my way to work Tuesday. The car is pretty beat up but I’m mostly just stiff and a bit sore. The other driver’s insurance is already trying to get me to sign off on a settlement for a couple thousand bucks. My friends say I should call a lawyer, but I don’t want to be 'that person' suing over a fender bender. At the same time, I don’t want to get screwed over if my back starts acting up later. Has anyone dealt with this? Did you regret not getting an attorney?
