So I got rear-ended pretty hard on Tuesday. My neck is killing me and I'm still waiting on the repair estimate for my car. The other guy's insurance just called and offered me $2,500 to 'settle everything right now.' It sounds like quick cash which I kind of need for bills, but my brother says I should talk to a lawyer first. Has anyone taken these early offers before? I'm worried if I sign it and my neck gets worse later, I'll be stuck paying for my own PT.
