I was stopped at a red light yesterday and a delivery truck just slammed into my bumper. I'm mostly okay, just really sore neck and back pain today, but my car is a mess. The truck company's insurance adjuster has already called me three times this morning wanting a 'recorded statement' and they're offering a quick settlement if I sign some papers now. This feels way too fast... has anyone else dealt with this? Do I actually need a lawyer or am I overthinking it?
