So I got rear-ended last Tuesday. Initially, I told the officer I was fine, but over the last few days, my lower back has been killing me and it's making it hard to sit at my desk for work. The other driver's insurance is already calling me and trying to get me to sign a release for a $2,200 'pain and suffering' check. It feels fast. Like, really fast. Should I just take the money and move on, or am I going to regret not talking to a personal injury lawyer? I've never dealt with this before and I'm honestly just stressed about the medical bills.
