Hey everyone, looking for some real advice. I got rear-ended on my way home from work last Tuesday. The other driver’s insurance company has already accepted full liability and they're setting up a rental for me while my bumper gets fixed. Here's the catch—my back and neck have started hurting more over the last couple of days. I went to urgent care and they said it's just whiplash, but the medical bills are starting to pile up. A few friends are telling me to hire a personal injury lawyer immediately, but I've never dealt with this before. Will a lawyer actually get me a better settlement to cover these medical costs, or will they just eat up most of the money? Is it worth the headache for a relatively minor accident?
