Hey guys, looking for some real-world advice here. I got rear-ended about two weeks ago. The other driver admitted fault, the police report says the same, and I filed a claim with their insurance company. At first they seemed helpful, but now my claims adjuster has completely stopped replying to my emails and calls. My car is just sitting at the body shop and I'm stuck driving a rental that I'm paying out of pocket for. Is this normal behavior for insurance companies? Should I keep trying to push them myself, or is it time to just hire a car accident lawyer? I really didn't want to go the legal route, but I feel like I'm getting screwed over here.
