I was sitting at a red light and a delivery truck rear-ended me. My neck is pretty stiff today and my car is a mess. The other driver's insurance company keeps calling my cell wanting a recorded statement. I've never been through this before. Is it a bad idea to just tell them what happened? My friends are saying I'm gonna get screwed if I don't get an attorney, but I don't want to deal with a whole legal thing if I don't have to.
