I got rear-ended last week and the other driver's insurance is already pushing me to sign a settlement. The amount they're offering barely covers my ER visit, and it doesn't even touch the car repairs or the fact that my back is still killing me. I really don't want to lose a huge chunk of money to an attorney if I can handle this myself, but I feel like I'm being lowballed. Has anyone successfully negotiated with an adjuster on their own, or am I just wasting my time?
